they dont let you know of the application process, whether you have the job or dont,
they just have you hanging on a string thinking you messed up the interview.... I went on a couple of shady interviews:one was a daycare for a lead teachers position, I was interviewed not by the director but by the cousin of the director who didnt even work there so she didnt even have a description of the position, The director called me and said you have the job my cousin like you and your presence but we have to wait to do a background check on you because my staff member who does them is on vacation I called there once every other week to see what was happening with my resume and the background check and she told me the same thing that was two months ago I gave up on the job prospect, I had another interview for a Lead Teacher this job interview the woman who was the director saw that I had a masters degree and was impressed I was shocked because she called me the same day I emailed her my overletter and resume. the interview was an hour away from my home but I got there on time, I get to the interview the Director loved me and she saidbecause of your masters you are overqualified but if you can do some volunteer work that would be nice" I think she couldve told me this on the phone. The third interview was for a case manager position at a small company I completed an interview appeared good I gave them all of my information: transcripts, certifications, TB papers, doubled back because they wanted official transcripts, recommedation letters, references (I had 8 of those)and a thank you note afterwards, everytime I go up to this office the Assistant Director says you will be sure to hear from us......nothing! no call back, unless Im calling them.... These Organizations need to either be more professional, or take responsibilty for their actions, Americans need jobs and we go on these interviews, given organizations all that we have and more and no one calls back! thats depressing so I need people (if you own a company or not) to reply to this to share their story and answer these questions:How long does it take for a HR to call after an interview? Why do HR Represetative look at credential know already that the person is overqualified and still interview them just to tell them their overqualified? Why when you people go on interviews they want free labor? Im looking to earn money I already have the experience dont need to volunteer... People give the excuse that organizations are busy but you set up the interviews so get the people who set up the interviews to do the whole employment processes so individuals who are looking for jobs who either wait for your calls or just gave up on looking for a job as a whole. I had to move back in with my parents and every other day they ask me why are you not getting any jobs they must think Im going to hang out because when my parents were getting jobs all they had to do was go into an office and
they would automatically have a job and I have to tell them its not like that anymore but they dont believe me
