I noticed that entry level civil engineer salary are pretty low and also for civil engineers that have experience. I was wondering why? Civil engineering is very important and needed skill in this world but very underpaid. I know not all civil engineers are underpaid but on average that is what seems from what I have researched online and talked to civil engineers.

you might have to relocate to the middle east. they always ay engineers the highest salaries. they pay for your house and car. there are no taxes and salaries are in USD and US standard. the avg salary there is around 45 gs. but thats tax free. so yeah. once u graduate go to the Middle east.

High supply of civil engineers versus low demand (seen any new freeways or airports being build lately) equates to lower wages. VERY simple economics.
