Can a board of directors also be the secretary, treasurer and director?

In a 501(C)(3) Non-profit organization:

In my state, there legally has to be three members of the Board of Directors. Along with the Director, Secretary and Treasurer. Keep in mind the Director, Secretary and Treasurer can legally be the same person.

Is it legal, however, for the Board of Directors to include the Director, Secretary and/or the Treasurer? Or do the two groups have to be separated member wise?

Yes, that's legal. The three positions are called the Officers, and they're the top board members.
